Role Purpose:
Our Cairns Office is seeking an experienced Family Law Legal Practitioner with a strong interest in social justice. As one of Queensland's largest legal practices, we offer a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive and collaborative environment.
About You:
* You must be admitted as a Legal Practitioner in Queensland or hold (or be eligible for immediate acquisition of) a current Practising Certificate, and be admitted as a Legal Practitioner or Barrister of the Supreme Court of Queensland and the Australian High Court.
* You should demonstrate a high level of professional service and capacity across Family Law, Domestic Violence, and (after training) Child Protection advocacy.
* Ideally, you will have a minimum of three years of full-time experience, resilience in handling complex cases, including Domestic Violence and Child Protection work, and the ability to develop culturally competent service skills.
