Join Above Benchmark: Become a Professional Mystery Shopper! We are Australia's mystery shopping provider focused on delivering excellence for our clients and our shoppers. We are looking for highly motivated, detail‐oriented individuals to join our team as Professional Mystery Shoppers. This flexible and critical role provides essential, objective feedback that helps our clients achieve excellence. Our shoppers come from all walks of life to better represent the customer base of our clients in a variety of businesses including shops, cafes, fast food restaurants, beauty clinics, pharmacies and veterinary clinics.
Responsibilities
* Provide essential, objective feedback after each project to help clients improve their operations.
* Represent the customer base of our clients across a variety of businesses (shops, cafes, fast food, beauty clinics, pharmacies, vets).
* Conduct in-person visits or phone surveys as required; ensure feedback is accurate and well‐documented.
* Upload photos or receipts when surveys require proof of visit or purchase.
* Follow detailed instructions and deadlines for every assignment.
Qualifications
* Exceptional attention to detail: Ability to observe, recall, and accurately report on service and environment criteria.
* Strong communication skills: Excellent written communication to document experiences and articulate feedback; verbal communication is essential for in-person visits or phone surveys.
* Technologically confident: Comfortable using technology, including a reliable mobile phone and computer/tablet with stable internet and email access for receiving assignments and submitting reports.
* Reliability and compliance: Ability to read, understand, and meticulously follow detailed instructions and deadlines for every assignment.
Compensation & Payments
Payment structure varies by assignment and is based on time and effort. Typical onsite payments range from $20–$50 and phone call payments range from $15–$30. Reimbursements are provided for meals and purchases when applicable. If a purchase is required, shoppers are reimbursed from their survey payment. At Above Benchmark, payments are processed weekly into the nominated bank account. We do not pay in vouchers, freebies, or PayPal.
