THE ROLE
* Process diamond drill core through the core yard and ensure that the backlog is kept to a minimum.
* Sample surface and underground stockpiles.
* Prepare sites for geological mapping by washing down, paint mark ups and measurement markups.
* Carry out quality control on face sample collection, documentation and delivery of samples to lab.
* Undertake daily workplace inspections.
* Enter data into Microsoft software with a high attention to detail.
WHAT DO I NEED
* Strong computer literacy skills.
* Attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Forklift License.
* Current unrestricted WA Class 'C' Driver's License.
* National police clearance, completed within 12 months prior to commencement date.
* Confidence working independently and managing shifting priorities.
