Job Title: Regulatory Specialist
The role of a Regulatory Specialist involves supporting the Early Childhood Regulatory Authority by consistently and fairly applying relevant early childhood education and care (ECEC) legislation, standards, policies, and guidelines in the regulation of the ECEC sector within the context of the Regulating for Quality policy.
Main Responsibilities:
* Undertake regulatory activities and make recommendations that support the Regulatory Authority to undertake its functions under the legislation and in accordance with the principles of good administrative decision making.
* Provide quality advice and manage expectations of internal and external stakeholders including ECEC providers and services as well as the general public on different regulatory activities.
Key Requirements:
* Implement operational policy initiatives drawing on feedback, evaluation, and data analysis to improve regulatory process and practice.
* Contribute to the implementation of effective record-keeping practices, data quality assurance, and modeling appropriate use of regulatory systems.
