Role Description
PR Group is seeking a PR Account Director – B2B to join our Sydney or Melbourne teams. In this full-time, hybrid role (2–3 days in our office), you'll take the lead on a portfolio of high-growth clients—across finance, health and technology sectors.
This is a senior leadership role where you'll be responsible for setting strategy, building deep client partnerships, and mentoring a talented team. You'll play a key role in the agency's executive leadership group, helping to drive growth, shape culture, and lead new business opportunities. You'll be trusted to take ownership, backed by a collaborative team that values fresh thinking and bold ideas.
What You'll Do
Client Champion
* Lead the strategy, execution, and growth of client accounts
* Provide senior counsel to clients and ensure excellence in delivery
* Own planning, reporting, and forecasting
* Drive strong, consistent earned media performance
New Business Driver
* Identify and convert opportunities with new and existing clients
* Lead proposals, pitch presentations, and industry networking
* Represent PR Group at startup and innovation events
* Mentor and manage 2–3 direct reports
* Support team development and performance
* Help shape agency leadership, culture, and operations
Media & Thought Leadership
* Maintain strong relationships across tech, business, and startup media
* Guide story development, pitch strategy, and newsjacking
* Contribute to PR Group's thought leadership and positioning
What You'll Bring
* 7+ years in PR or communications, ideally in tech, B2B, SaaS, or innovation
* Proven success in earned media strategy and delivery
* Strategic mindset with the ability to lead senior client relationships
* Exceptional writing, verbal, and interpersonal skills
* Strong team leadership and commercial acumen
* A collaborative, proactive approach and entrepreneurial energy
