Job Title: Experienced Perinatal Clinician
Description:
We provide comprehensive psychological support services to women and their partners, including individual, couple and parent-infant therapies. Our clinicians offer a wide range of therapeutic interventions for expectant and new parents experiencing perinatal mental health issues.
The ideal candidate will possess proficiency in comprehensive psychological assessment and evidence-based therapy relevant to expectant and new parents with perinatal mental health issues. Registration with the relevant professional body or accreditation as a mental health practitioner is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver face-to-face and telehealth psychological support services to women and their partners.
* Provide pre-conception counselling, as well as services to those experiencing or at risk of developing perinatal depressive, anxiety and trauma or stressor-related disorders.
* Support women and their partners who have experienced a pregnancy or childbirth-related loss.
Requirements:
* Demonstrated ability to work within a recovery-oriented model, utilising a person/family centred approach.
* High level communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
* Registration with the relevant professional body or accreditation as a mental health practitioner.
* At least 3 years post-registration experience, with specific experience working with perinatal clients or in a complementary field.
