Job Description
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the warehouse operations, ensuring seamless day-to-day activities. This role involves loading and unloading plasterboard and related materials, liaising with customers, adhering to work health and safety procedures, picking and packing orders, general housekeeping, receiving and checking goods, stock control, including stock takes, and assisting with delivering goods to customers on site.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* A valid forklift license is essential for this role.
* White Card certification is also required.
* Previous experience in working in a building supplies or construction warehouse environment is highly valued.
* Ability to work under pressure and maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary for effective customer service and collaboration with the team.
* Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong focus on safe manual handling are also crucial attributes for success in this role.
