About the role Ensure seamless operations and exceptional experiences across front of house, events, property and facilities. This dynamic position requires a skilled professional with a keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence. Additionally, you will lead and manage the Front of House Team, ensuring smooth business operations and exceptional guest experiences through effective team management and coordination. This is a salaried, 11 month fixed-term contract to cover parental leave. What you'll do Events Management Oversee all elements of large-scale events from inception to completionBriefing and coordinating internal teams and external event agenciesSource venuesOversee scheduling, logistics, budgeting, and supplier managementConduct post-event evaluations to assess event success Front of House Leadership Lead the Front of House team by example, fostering a culture of teamwork and professionalism to ensure the delivery of exceptional customer experiencesEnsure that the Front of House area is clean, organised, and presented professionally, with meeting rooms arranged to enhance the customer experience, including proper audio-visual setupCollaborate with catering suppliers to optimise agreements based on business spendingComfortable with being hands-on to support the Front of House team with their responsibilities: such as room resets, cleaning, etc. Facilities Management Overseeing facility maintenance and operations to ensure a safe, functional, and well-maintained environmentManaging facility budgets, procurement, and vendor contracts to optimise resource allocation and cost-effectiveness Management & Coaching Establish a supportive environment with a culture of expectation setting, timely feedback, effective training, coaching, mentoring and support resulting in high-performance About you Extensive experience in customer services, event planning and Front of House managementStrong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneouslyExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at building strong relationships with diverse stakeholdersExceptional attention to detailDemonstrated ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and innovate within the events spacePossess robust analytical skills, enabling the ability to make data-driven and succinct decisionsAdvanced computer literacy in Microsoft Office and a willingness to learn new event management software and toolsComfortable with a role that has occasional travel Culture & Benefits Standards Australia is proud to have been awarded the prestigious Employer of Choice Award for two consecutive years, 2023 and 2024.
