**The Role**:
Remotely operate and monitor the operation of client's wind farms from the Control Centre in Canberra (APREC (Asian Pacific Renewable Energy Centre), in accordance with the requirements of the Market Operator, the safety requirements, the maximization of performance and following the operating procedures defined with the O&M contractor and the equipment manuals.
Monitor the plant and processes to ensure that operation is in accordance with all relevant operational requirements as well as monitor the performance and condition of equipment and recognize any deviation from normal conditions.
- Real-time operation
- Perform the remote operation and real-time supervision of wind turbines and substations, facing incidents or programmed and non-programmed works, of the different Wind Farms operated by the client in Australia.
- Execution of remote manoeuvres due to limitations imposed by the Market Operator (AEMO).
- Monitoring the plant and processes to ensure that operation is in accordance with all relevant operational requirements and analysing the evolution of the data reflected in the tele-control systems and acting on the controls of the power plant in accordance with the established regulations and operating plans.
- Monitoring the performance and condition of equipment and recognizing any deviation from normal conditions.
**_Internal Communication_**
- Direct communication with the Wind Farm Supervisor for the coordination of programmed and non-programmed works, as well as notification of serious incidents in the grid or in the wind turbines that require local action.
- Daily contact with the client's Head office in Madrid for the reporting of power generation, operational incidents and other operational data.
**_External Communication_**
- Direct communication with the electrical contractors in charge of the local works of the substations, as well as with the contractors for maintenance of the technologists of each installation for the revision of the equipment.
- Daily interlocution with the Market Operator (AEMO) to attend any requirement in the grid.
- Direct communication with existing distribution companies in Australia for the resolution of grid incidents and / or works scheduling.
**_Backoffice_**
- Preparation of reports for the monitoring of the production and the incidents in the grid, for all the Wind Farms.
- Elaboration of the dashboards used for the revision of the indicators (KPIs).
- Maintenance of records and registers associated with the plant.

**About you**:
- 2 years of experience in control and monitoring positions.
**Specific knowledge**:
- Basic knowledge of the practices functions and processes that the operation of a generation plant entails (preferably Wind farm).
- Knowledge of the operation of the Australian energy market.
