**The Company**
This recognised Australian services organisation is going through some positive system and process improvement changes and requires the support of an expert in their field to assist. Based on the Northside of Brisbane, they currently require a motivated **Accounts Payable Manager **to join on a** 3 month contract, immediate start. **The company also offers flexibility to work from home. This is an opportunity to move into a highly visible leadership role, with a systems & process improvement remit.
**The Role**
After the initial project of streamlining the AP processes and improving the purchasing, this role will develop into a manager position with one direct report.
Responsibilities will include but not limited to;
- Lead Accounts Payable (AP) in System Dynamics Business Central, ensuring smooth operations.
- Own AP process, finding ways to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Guide offshore AP Officer, ensuring alignment with processes.
- Develop standard procedures for tasks like invoice processing and vendor management.
- Investigate and resolve invoice discrepancies, working with stakeholders.
- Monitor AP performance metrics and implement improvements.
- Collaborate with finance for accurate reporting.
**About You**
You will have solid experience in Accounts Payable and Purchasing process improvements, streamlining, and supplier issue improvements. You will also be able to make suggestions to better the AP functions overall. You should come from a medium size company and have experience in improving these functions.
To be considered you will be immediately available or on short notice and be able to commute to Eagle Farm.
