About the role
We are seeking an experienced Full Time Cabinet Maker to join our team in Nerang, Queensland. This is a full-time position, with opportunities to contribute to the design, manufacture and installation of high-quality custom cabinetry and woodwork for residential and commercial clients.
What you'll be doing
* Producing and assembling custom cabinets, furniture and other woodwork to client specifications and have a keen eye for detail and have a high end finishing skill set
* Operating machinery such as saws, routers, edge banders and basic hand tools
* Reading and interpreting design plans, sketches and technical drawings to guide the construction process un supervised
* Collaborating with the design team to provide input on the feasibility and construction of new projects
* Ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards
* Maintaining a clean and organized workshop environment and a team player
What we're looking for
* Minimum 3 years' experience as a Cabinet Maker, preferably in a custom or bespoke environment
* Current drivers license
* Excellent technical skills and attention to detail in woodworking and cabinetry construction
* Strong problem-solving abilities to provide creative solutions to construction challenges un supervised
* Good communication skills to liaise with the design team and clients
* A safety-first mindset and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized workspace
