The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our client's Mango packing shed operations located in Katherine, Northern Territory. This is a hands-on role where you'll be responsible for keeping machinery, equipment, and facilities in top working condition. Working in a practical, team-focused environment, you'll be contributing to the smooth and safe operation of a busy workplace.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will carry out essential maintenance and repair work to keep operations running smoothly and safely. Tasks may include:
- Conducting preventative and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues
- Performing routine inspections and record keeping
- Assisting with installations, upgrades, and modifications
- Maintaining safe work practices and compliance with workplace procedures
Benefits
- $40.00 per hour
- 3 months of consistent work
- Approximately 50 hours per week, with the opportunity for additional hours

Your Skills & Experience
You're a practical, safety-minded technician with a proven background in equipment and machinery maintenance. You're reliable, adaptable, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. To be successful, you'll need:

- Robust mechanical and/or electrical maintenance skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
- Good problem-solving and troubleshooting ability
