About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Mechanical Engineer to join our client's project team on a 9-month contract, working in a FIFO arrangement with a 2:1 roster. The successful candidate will be responsible for completing detailed mechanical engineering designs and calculations, technical review of mechanical drawings and vendor documentation, and preparing and reviewing data sheets, scopes, and tender evaluations for equipment procurement.

Requirements

* Tertiary qualifications in Mechanical Engineering;

* Experience with base, precious, or rare earth minerals;

* Mineral processing plant experience within a design & construct environment;

* Strong technical experience;

* Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
