We are seeking a friendly, professional, and highly organized social media coordinator to join our team at Amara Wellness & Psychology. The Social Media Coordinator will be responsible for planning, creating, and managing engaging content across our social media platforms. This role supports the practice's outreach, education, and marketing efforts with a focus on destigmatizing mental health, promoting services, and fostering a compassionate online community.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Develop and implement a strategic social media content calendar aligned with the practice's goals and values.
- Create and schedule original content (posts, stories, reels, videos) across platforms.
- Collaborate with clinicians to produce psychoeducational content and mental health resources.
- Monitor trends in mental health and social media to ensure relevance and thought leadership.
- Respond to comments and messages with empathy and within professional boundaries (no clinical advice).
- Track performance metrics (engagement, reach, growth) and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Coordinate with web and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding and messaging.
**Key Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Previous experience managing professional social media accounts.
- Strong understanding of mental health topics and sensitivity to diverse client needs.
- Excellent written and visual communication skills.
- Proficiency with content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing apps).
- Ability to work independently with strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Familiarity with ethical boundaries in healthcare communication is a plus.

**Desirable Skills & Attributes**:
