As a Disability Support Worker, you'll deliver exceptional, person-centred care to clients with physical, intellectual and mental health challenges. Your day-to-day will include:
* Assisting with daily living tasks like personal hygiene and grooming.
* Providing transportation and companionship for appointments, shopping, and social outings.
* Supporting clients in achieving their NDIS goals, promoting independence and inclusion.
* Flexible Shifts with Different Clients: Work with a variety of clients in the area, with shifts available weekdays from 6am to 10pm.
What You Bring to the Team
* Experience with challenging behaviours, including ADHD and Autism.
* Background in intellectual disabilities and complex care.
* Training in restrictive practices and top-notch communication skills.
* A current driver's licence, your own car, and a passion for empowering others.
* WWCC, NDISWC and current police check are mandatory for this role.
* Completed NDIS Code of Conduct
* First Aid and CPR compliance
