Add expected salary to your profile for insightsOngoing Part Time – 64 hours per fortnight Available from 27th October 2025An exciting and rewarding opportunity is available for a suitably qualified Registered Nurse to join the Assistant Director of Nursing team at Portland District Health.The role of the Assistant Director of Nursing is to provide operational leadership and management within Portland District Health to meet the strategic plan.
The incumbent a senior nurse is the human / management resource manager out of business hours and is able to assist in clinical divisions.
All interactions with staff, patients and relatives are guided by the organizations values of wisdom, courage and compassion.
Hours of work will include weekdays, shift work, night shift, weekends and public holidays.About you:Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) via Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA), with current registration.Minimum of 5 years clinical/management experience in a variety of clinical areas.Experience planning and delivering high-quality communications through a variety of channelsAdvanced understanding and knowledge of clinical nursing and clinical risk managementUnderstanding and familiarity of NSQHS StandardsExcellent communication, interpersonal, written, verbal and ICT skillsPlease click here to view Position Description.About us:Portland District Health (PDH) provides an integrated health service for the community.
