The Medical Workforce Unit manages over 1800 medical staff appointments and provides recruitment and operational services for both junior and senior medical staff across Alfred Health. The Role Reporting to the Recruitment and Workforce Services Manager, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the annual planning and providing end to end recruitment support of Medical Staff. This includes budget confirmation, advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and processing the appointments. You will also continuously evaluate and identify opportunities to improve the recruitment and employment processes and systems. The position is unique as the recruitment processes vary for the different types of roles, therefore no two days are the same! This position will be supported by a Recruitment Administrator who will assist with all related administration including but not limited to; interview bookings, reference checks, contract generation, onboarding, credentialing, employee variations and offboarding.
