Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer to support sustaining projects across refinery tailings storage and water management infrastructure in Western Australia. The role will provide civil engineering expertise across design coordination, earthworks and infrastructure upgrades. You will work closely with multidisciplinary project teams and contractors to support the safe and efficient delivery of critical infrastructure projects.
Responsibilities
Provide civil engineering support across tailings storage and water management infrastructure projects
Review and manage civil engineering design deliverables and technical documentation
Support works involving tailings storage cells, water storage ponds and large-scale earthworks
Coordinate technical interfaces across civil, mechanical, electrical and environmental disciplines
Participate in engineering design reviews and technical evaluations
Ensure engineering deliverables align with project specifications and industry standards
Support contractor coordination and provide technical clarification during project execution
Monitor engineering progress and assist in resolving technical issues during project delivery
Provide engineering input to support procurement, construction and commissioning activities
Collaborate with project teams and contractors to support safe and efficient project delivery
Requirements
Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) recognised under the Washington Accord
7+ years engineering experience in civil infrastructure, mining, mineral processing or heavy industry
Experience in civil engineering design and design management
Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal)
Experience with tailings storage facilities, water infrastructure or earthworks projects advantageous
