Position Overview
The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for delivering high-quality HR services across recruitment, onboarding, compliance, performance management, and staff engagement. The successful candidate will ensure that HR practices align with the NDIS-Quality and Safeguards Framework and the SCHADS Award, while supporting a positive and professional workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
* End-to-end recruitment and onboarding for support workers and corporate staff
* Interpretation and application of the SCHADS Award, including classifications, penalties, and allowances
* Ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, worker screening, and mandatory training
* Supporting managers with performance management and workforce development processes
* Maintaining accurate HR documentation and reporting
* Contributing to staff engagement, retention, and wellbeing initiatives
We are seeking professional who demonstrates:
* Experience in HR within the NDIS, community, and or health sector
* Strong understanding of the SCHADS Award
* Knowledge of NDIS compliance requirements
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work independently while supporting a busy operational team
* Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience
