Service Coordinator Position Overview
We are seeking a Service Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the dispatch and coordination of technicians.
This position requires an individual who can ensure productive work assignments for all technicians, as well as liaise with clients and technicians regarding work progress.
Main Responsibilities:
* Coordinate service technicians' schedules and tasks.
* Review and verify paperwork and job status.
* Liaise with clients and technicians to provide timely updates.
* Schedule repairs and maintenance according to client requirements.
* Provide accurate quotations and estimates for breakdown work.
* Manage inventory levels of parts and components.
* Support the administrative team as needed.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the mechanical or construction sector (preferably).
* Familiarity with HVAC systems is beneficial.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
* The ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet deadlines.
* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
