We’re currently looking for Kitchen Stewards to join our dedicated and hard-working back-of-house Food & Beverage team. Your Role
As a Kitchen Steward, you’ll work behind the scenes in one of our high-paced resort or restaurant kitchens. Your main focus will be supporting chefs, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring hygiene compliance across all back-of-house operations.
Where You’ll Make an Impact
- Wash and sanitise dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
- Maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen workplace at all times
- Unpack deliveries and manage stock rotation
- Support chefs with general cleaning and basic prep tasks
- Comply with food safety and safe work practices
- Physically active role in a busy, fast-paced environment
What We’re Looking For
You’re someone who takes pride in doing a great job, thrives in a team, and is reliable, enthusiastic, and physically fit. You understand that every plate of food starts with a clean kitchen and clean tools — and you’re the person who makes that happen.
To Be Successful, You Will Need:
- A valid open driver licence (Essential – NAATI translation required if international)
- Previous experience as a Kitchens Hand or in a physically demanding role (Preferred)
- A strong work ethic and positive, team-first attitude
- Willingness to work varied shifts and adapt to changing demands
- Excellent personal presentation and hygiene standards
- Valuable level of physical fitness – this is an active role
