Virtual GP - Telehealth | Work from Home

. This telehealth opportunity is ideal for experienced GPs seeking lifestyle balance, flexibility, and the ability to deliver high-quality care from home, with a focus on after-hours availability to meet growing patient demand.
What You'll Do
You'll provide acute episodic care via phone and video for non-emergency presentations like coughs, colds, and UTIs. Patients are pre-screened by a nurse-led triage service, so you'll only consult with those who meet clinical criteria—no chasing, no admin overload.
Medical Advice, Prescriptions and medical certificates
Reduce ED presentations by offering timely care
Ensure consultation notes are uploaded to MyHR or forwarded to the individual's GP to support continuity of care
No radiology, pathology, or specialist referrals
The Setup
Fully remote with tech and onboarding provided
Flexible shifts: 2 – 8 hours, between 9:30 AM–midnight (Monday to Saturday) and all-day Sunday
Part-time or full-time (minimum 0.2 FTE / 7.5 hours per week)
Fixed-term contract until 30 June 2026
You'll need
A private home office
Reliable internet (minimum 50Mbps download / 20Mbps upload via Cable or NBN fibre)
About You
Sister registration with AHPRA (no conditions)
Minimum 3 years' GP experience (with at least 1 year in Australian General Practice)
Confident consulting via phone/video and collaborating via MS Teams
