Full Job Description Our client is a leading manufacturer in polystyrene waffle pods and supplier of steel reinforcement for the construction industry. It is a very busy hub with activities such as machine operating, order preparation, including steel reinforcement allotments and loading. Demand is nearing 24/7, so we need safety conscious and processes followed with speed and accuracy. Responsibilities - Operating waffle pod injectors, 4 in total. - Operating bar and mesh machines. - Utilising various cutting and bending equipment. - Ability be hands on with general labour tasks (Such as lifting team lifting up to 40kg). - Quality checking and adhering to the strict safety protocols in a manufacturing plant environment. - Working in a team and independently ensuring productively and efficiency targets. - Assist with loading and unloading of scrap from time to time. Criteria - Previous experience within the Steel Industry and or manufacturing industry for construction (Highly Regarded). - Previous experience as a Machine Operator (Essential). - Strong commitment to safety, with a reliable and punctual work ethic. - Must be an Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident to be considered (Essential). - Must satisfactorily pass a national police check and medical assessment (Essential). - This position is best suited for a real team player who thinks on their feet with practical solutions in a fast-paced environment.
