About the Role
This position is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. You will work closely with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and effectively manage stock levels to meet customer demands.
Key responsibilities include:
* Receiving and processing stock deliveries
* Maintaining accurate inventory records and performing regular stocktakes
* Purchasing stock as required to meet customer orders and showroom needs
* Picking, packing, and sorting items for shipment or display
You will also contribute to merchandising the showroom, working collaboratively with retail staff to create an appealing display of products.
Requirements
* Proven experience in warehousing, stock control, and purchasing
* Strong organisational and computer skills (Excel, Outlook, POS systems)
* High attention to detail and accuracy
* Retail merchandising an advantage
