Responsibilities
Design & Deliver Electrical Systems
* Design, develop, and oversee electrical systems and schematics for construction projects.
* Manage installation and commissioning to meet specifications, standards, and project requirements.
* Diagnose issues and provide technical support to minimise downtime and boost system reliability.
* Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal electrical and safety regulations.
* Interpret drawings, specifications, and technical documentation to determine project needs.
* Use CAD and other design tools to prepare detailed electrical plans.
* Analyse, review, and approve construction and engineering plans.
* Monitor project scope, schedules, budgets, and electrical performance outcomes.
* Stay current with emerging technology, standards and industry advancements.
Collaborate & Influence
* Work closely with project managers, engineers, architects and subcontractors to align electrical systems with project goals.
* Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure expectations are met and exceeded.
* Support CC Pines teams through knowledge sharing, mentoring and maintaining high‑quality delivery.
* Manage subcontractor performance and ensure works meet quality and safety expectations.
Drive Safety & Quality
* Conduct quality assurance inspections and report on all electrical components and installations.
* Promote and uphold health, safety and environmental standards across all work.
* Drive sustainable, energy‑efficient electrical solutions across our projects.
* Champion a safety‑first culture through active risk assessment and mitigation.
What You'll Bring
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
* Professional Engineer (PE) registration (state‑dependent).
* Minimum 5 years' electrical engineering experience, including 3+ years on Australian construction sites.
* Proficiency in CAD software and electrical design tools.
* Strong knowledge of electrical standards, codes, and safety regulations.
* Proven project management capability.
* High‑level diagnostic, problem‑solving and time‑management skills.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Valid driver's licence and ability to work effectively in a team under pressure.
