We are seeking an experienced Assistant Human Resources Manager to join our fast-paced HR department. As a crucial member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering instruction, guidance, and support to staff and management.
Key Responsibilities:
* Providing accurate advice and guidance on employment-related matters, including entitlements, contract terms and conditions, and policies and procedures.
* Implementing our grievance and disciplinary procedures.
* Managing the progress of our apprentices and trainees through close contact with managers, external training organizations, and agencies.
* Overseeing our orientation program for new staff and administering our health and wellbeing program.
* Coordinating visa and sponsorship information and assisting in the seasonal worker program administration.
Requirements:
* Knowledge of industrial relations, recruitment, privacy, and training legislation.
* Previous experience in a hotel or resort environment of international standard.
* A human resources qualification or at least 3 years of HR management experience.
* Proven customer service experience and intermediate level skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Office 365 SharePoint.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills and a current driver's license.
