The Sponsorship and Rights Assistant will play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to valued partners, ensuring they receive maximum value for their investment.About the Tattoo:The Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo is a world-class event rooted in Scottish tradition, offering audiences an unparalleled experience.
Performed to a live audience of 230,000 each year on the iconic Edinburgh Castle Esplanade, the Tattoo showcases creativity through music, precision performances, and dance from military and cultural acts from around the globe.Duration:This is a temporary position from 3 June to 5 September 2025.
The normal working week in June will be 35 hours, from 09:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday.
During the Castle Concerts and Tattoo periods, there will be an expectation to work approximately 42 hours, from 14:00 to 23:00, Monday to Friday, and 12:00 to 23:00 on Saturdays (including Friday 22 August).
You will be on duty every performance night.Castle Concerts run from 3 to 13 July.
The Tattoo runs from 1 to 23 August, with performances Monday through Saturday.
A Preview performance is scheduled for 31 July.Key Duties:Support assigned commercial partners, nurturing strong, positive relationships across our concert series and Tattoo event.Coordinate and execute partner activations during the Tattoo's event season, ensuring seamless delivery of contracted rights, including branding, hospitality, experiential activations, marketing deliverables, and on-site visibility, while adhering to timelines and budgets.Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver creative and impactful partnership activations.Contribute to reporting processes, including capturing photographs of activations for post-event reports that showcase the value delivered to partners.Identify opportunities for upselling or enhancing current partnerships through new initiatives or rights.Assist the Commercial Partnerships Manager in onboarding new partners and ensuring smooth integration.Provide on-the-ground support to partners during the Tattoo season, ensuring smooth execution of activations and addressing challenges promptly.Assist with event logistics, including hospitality arrangements and partner-specific requirements.Rate of Pay:£13.40 per hourLocation:1-3 Cockburn Street, with regular onsite work at The Edinburgh Castle ArenaPlease visit our website for the full role description and application details!The deadline is Tuesday, 29 April 2025, at 23:55.TAGGED: Festivals / Music / Traditional Arts / Cultural Tourism
