Overview
Graphic Designer & Thumbnail Designer role at J-Digital Co. We’re looking for an intermediate-level graphic designer with experience in editing Facebook Ads, YouTube Thumbnails, Instagram Thumbnails and TikTok Thumbnails, and engaging content for social media. If you’re someone with intermediate editing skills who can work in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of content while maintaining quality, this position is for you.
You MUST have a meticulous eye for detail in editing and ensuring work meets the client brief and standards.
Please attach your CV and previous work experience, specifically for Facebook Image Ads, YouTube, Instagram and TikTok Thumbnails and Social Media Content. You do not need to attach examples for all, but at least 3 of them, with a minimum of 5 examples per theme (e.g., minimum 5 for YouTube Thumbnails and 5 for Instagram Thumbnails).

Fully Remote Role with Perth Based Company
The role is fully remote
Part Time: 20 hours per week
Salary: $ AUD per month
Responsibilities
- Graphic Design: Creating ad creatives using CAD or other software for graphical manipulation of images and text; designs should be aesthetic and enticing.
- Proofreading and quality control to ensure no spelling/capitalisation errors and that client brief requirements are met.
- Ensure designs meet client brief requirements, including: colour schemes, awareness stage, aspect ratio, client-provided assets, offer guidelines, suitability for target audience, project description followed and executed.
- Export designs in the requested format at sufficiently high resolution.
- Other graphic design tasks such as graphics for websites, funnels, or other marketing materials (digital or printed).
Communication
- Regular updates with the team and project manager; clear communication with media buyers as needed.
- Clarify client briefs or instructions and report issues promptly to the project manager.
- Ability to communicate directly with clients and with the graphic design team; available for team Zoom meetings during business hours.
Planning and Scoping
- Read and note client briefs; set and agree to project turnaround times with media buyers or project manager.
Requirements
- Proactive communication including reporting and progress updates where appropriate.
- Proficient in Asana, or willingness to learn and communicate through Asana for projects.
- Minimum 2 years of experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Minimum 3 years of experience with Canva.
- Maintain consistent quality of work; ability to multi-task and prioritise projects.
- Effective communication with J-Digital team via Zoom and Slack; direct client communication as needed.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow client briefs and media buyer instructions; ask questions promptly when needed.
- Stay up to date with graphic design trends and generative AI/technology related to the role.
- Understand digital marketing concepts and strategies; continue to improve and expand graphic design skillset.
Nice to Have: UX/UI Experience
- Design/mockups for low and high-fidelity UI designs.
- Incorporate feedback from lead developers and design websites according to client requirements.
- Apply modern UI/UX principles; advise marketing on improvements and CRO considerations.
- Learn GoHighLevel (GHL) page builders and front-end design; assist with landing pages for deployment in GHL.
