Job Title: Park Enforcement Officers
About the Role
Park enforcement officers play a crucial role in maintaining public safety and compliance within our municipality.
They work closely with the community to resolve issues effectively, responding to concerns, conducting patrols, issuing infringement notices, and carrying out investigations as necessary.
This role requires strong interpersonal communication skills, adaptability, and a commitment to workplace health and safety.
In order to excel in this position, you will need to possess a Class C Drivers Licence and undergo a National Police Records Check.
Key Responsibilities
* Respond promptly to public inquiries and complaints regarding parking, animals, safety, and By-Law matters.
* Conduct regular foot or vehicle patrols to enforce City of Darwin By-laws, Australian Road Rules, and relevant legislation.
* Support animal management programs and other compliance activities aligned with Council policies and strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Possession of a valid Class C Drivers Licence.
* National Police Records Check.
* Strong interpersonal communication skills.
