Animal Shelter Volunteer Opportunities
The City of Ballarat Animal Shelter is seeking passionate community members to support the weekly routine of the shelter.
Available Roles and Responsibilities
* Donations, Laundry and Store Room Volunteer: Assist with sorting donations, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean storeroom environment.
o Sort and organize donations for distribution to the animals.
o Manage inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment.
o Maintain a clean and organized store room.
* Administration Assist Volunteer: Support administrative tasks, create adoption packs, and pet profiles.
o Assist with administrative duties such as data entry and record keeping.
o Help create adoption packs and pet profiles.
* Dog Enrichment Volunteer: Provide dogs with exercise, playtime, and attention.
* Cat Enrichment Volunteer: Care for cats by brushing, playing with them, and cleaning their dishes.
Requirements and Qualifications
