The Opportunity
We're looking for a skilled Video Editor to help redefine how AI and advertising come together in post production. If you're passionate about pushing creative boundaries and working at the cutting edge of AI driven content, this role gives you ownership of the edit from rough cut to final delivery, shaping AI generated assets into polished advertising for social, digital and brand channels.
This casual opportunity is ideal for someone looking for flexible work in a creative, fast-paced environment.
About You
We're seeking someone with 2+ years of industry experience in the advertising or post-production sector. You've moved beyond university and have real-world production experience in the art of commercial storytelling, whether that's editing in a production house, working at a creative agency or directly with Brands either as a freelancer or part of the in-house creative/content team.
Your background includes:
* Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Film & Television, or a related field
* Minimum 2 years' experience as a video editor (agency, production house, in house or freelance), ideally on advertising or branded content
* Strong skills and experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro and After Effects
* A portfolio that showcases your creative and technical abilities
* Strong written and visual storytelling skills, with an eye for brand and design
* Award School qualification (preferred, but not essential)
Key Responsibilities
* Post-Production Editing: Take raw footage and AI‑generated material and edit into clear, compelling advertising assets that meets client briefs
* Creative Execution: Transform concepts into compelling visual stories, by building rough cuts, refining pacing, and crafting narratives that land a single minded message
* Collaboration & Feedback: Work closely with creative leads, designers, colleagues and clients; interpreting feedback and implementing revisions efficiently across edit rounds
* Quality Control: Ensure all outputs meet BrandComms.AI's high creative and technical standards
