Job Title: Team Leader Wellbeing
This is an exciting opportunity to lead and support a team in providing high-quality services to clients or community members. The successful candidate will provide day-to-day leadership, guidance, and supervision to frontline staff.
The role involves promoting high standards of practice, ensuring team wellbeing, supporting performance and compliance, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. They will be responsible for conducting performance reviews, goal setting, and professional development planning.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide leadership, guidance, and regular supervision to team members.
* Support staff in delivering high-quality, culturally safe, and client-centred services.
* Conduct performance reviews, goal setting, and professional development planning
* Monitor service delivery performance and ensure compliance with program goals, quality standards, and funding requirements.
* Manage rostering, leave planning, and workload management to ensure service continuity.
* Facilitate reflective practice, team meetings, and learning opportunities.
* Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, audits, and evaluations.
* Ensure documentation and reporting meet organisational and regulatory standards.
* Provide direction, leadership and role modelling to ensure the provision of appropriate and effective case management and practice.
* Establish and coordinate a cohesive and responsive model of professional supervision and debriefing, including individual and peer supervision.
* Review, support and monitor case coordination processes.
* In collaboration with relevant senior staff, promote and support a client, carer and family focused multidisciplinary team approach to service provision.
* Promote a positive team culture grounded in safety, inclusion, and respect.
* Monitor staff wellbeing and support access to supervision or wellbeing resources.
* Address conflict or performance issues in line with HR policy and in consultation with management.
* Act as a key point of contact between frontline staff and senior management.
* Represent the team in internal planning and operational meetings.
* Build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
* A Qualification in Health or a related field is desirable
* A current First Aid or CPR Certificate
* A current Driver's Licence.
* A current Victorian Working with Children Check.
* A current Police Check.
