Job Title: Financial Operations Coordinator

We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable professional to oversee the day-to-day financial operations and provide timely and accurate financial information.


About the Role

This is a key position within our finance team, providing vital financial oversight and reporting to ensure we remain compliant and well-positioned for continued growth.

* Accounts Payable & Receivable:
o End-to-end management of supplier and client accounts
o Processing invoices and issuing statements
o Completion and maintenance of supplier account information
* Payroll Administration:
o Oversee fortnightly payroll processing in compliance with award and legislative requirements
o Maintain up-to-date employee payroll records
o Administer leave, superannuation and entitlements
o Payroll tax reporting and payment
* ATO Compliance & Lodgements:
o Assist with BAS, IAS, and PAYG reporting and lodgements
o Assist with fringe benefits tax (FBT), superannuation, and other statutory obligations
o Ensure accurate record keeping for audits and compliance
* Financial Support for External Advisors:
o Liaise with external advisors to provide financial records, reports, and reconciliations as required
o Assist in the preparation of documentation for annual tax returns and financial audits
* Expense Management & Cost Control:
o Maintain consistent tracking of consultant expenses and reimbursements


About You

You are an experienced finance professional with a strong grasp of accounting fundamentals and a hands-on approach. You're confident working autonomously, while also valuing collaboration and communication across the business.

You'll bring:

* Minimum 3 years' experience in accounts administration or a similar finance role
* Strong proficiency with accounting software (e.g. Xero, MYOB)
* Confidence with Excel and other reporting tools
* Understanding of payroll compliance and ATO reporting requirements
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience in a professional services or project-based business (preferred)
