The dealership is recruiting for an apprentice who is motivated and has the desire to become a highly skilled motor technician(s) with one of the world's most iconic prestige car brands - Mercedes-Benz The role will be based in Toowong and will suit someone that wants to develop an elite level of technical skills, gain exposure to customer service and basic administrative responsibilities whilst being part of a high-performing team.
If you become an apprentice you will;
Gain a nationally recognised automotive qualification.
Receive comprehensive on-the-job training with modern equipment
Have access to Individual and team incentive programs (as appropriate)
In this role:
You will gain knowledge on basic vehicle diagnostics and guided fault finding with the appropriate diagnostics tools.
You will work alongside a dedicated mentor who will support you throughout your qualification.
You will perform standard maintenance, testing and adjustment work.
You will assist other team members in completing repairs, ordering parts, or supporting customers as necessary.
You will assist with cleaning and maintaining workshop tools and equipment
You will develop the necessary skills and competencies whilst completing studies to obtain recognition as a trade's person and be acknowledged as a certified technician.
To become an apprentice with Mercedes-Benz Toowong, we are looking for the following:
A passion for high performance cars and the desire to become a highly skilled and professional motor mechanic
Clear communication skills with a focus on customer service
Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and 'can do' attitude
Professional presentation always
Honesty, trustworthiness, and punctuality
Current Driver's License/Provisional Drivers Licence preferred.
