Your new role
As a Community Support Worker you will offers practical and emotional support to individuals and families. You will help people access essential services and programs through referrals, assisting with completing forms or understanding correspondence, supporting digital access such as internet use or emails, and providing guidance with everyday tasks such as making phone calls or connecting to community resources
In a typical day as a Community Support Worker you might:
* Support administrative tasks for community members and the Community Hub requiring a high degree of judgment, initiative, confidentiality and sensitivity.
* Contribute to the day-to-day activities of the Community Hub where required

Your skills and experience
You will bring with you:
* Post-secondary qualifications in Community Development or related field are desirable.
* Current driver's licence valid in Victoria
* Demonstrated understanding of, and commitment to the principles of Social Justice.
* Demonstrated understanding and experience of volunteer recruitment and support processes.
* Demonstrated ability to participate in a multi-skilling learning environment and a self-managing team.
