Student Support Professional
The role of a Student Support Professional is to provide guidance and support to students in various aspects of their academic and personal lives. This includes helping students with financial assistance, accommodation, and disability support.
* Provide individual and group support to students addressing their academic, personal, and wellbeing needs.
* Oversee and coordinate support services for students with disabilities, ensuring they have the necessary accommodations and resources.
* Develop and implement student support programs and initiatives and evaluate their effectiveness.
About You
We are looking for an experienced professional who can provide exceptional support to our students. To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
* A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Social Work, Sociology, Behavioural Science, or Psychology) and significant experience in student support or a related field.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport, provide empathetic support, and negotiate effectively.
* Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and resolve complex issues.
