Position Purpose
The Business Development Manager – 3PL (BDM) is responsible for driving new customer acquisition, building strategic partnerships, and expanding Sendable's market presence across Australia.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute a structured sales plan targeting businesses requiring 3PL services.
Identify and prospect new leads through networking, referrals, and outreach campaigns.
Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to onboarding handover.
Build long-term relationships with prospective clients and understand operational needs.
Prepare pricing proposals and profitability assessments.
Monitor market trends and competitive activity.
Collaborate with internal teams to develop tailored client solutions.
Skills & Attributes
Strong understanding of 3PL, supply chain, or logistics operations.
Proven track record in business development or B2B sales.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
High commercial acumen and analytical ability.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Qualifications & Experience
3–5+ years in business development or sales roles.
Experience within logistics, 3PL, or e-commerce sectors preferred.
CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce).
Understanding of e-commerce platforms beneficial.
