Summary
The Product Line Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of all aspects of the product lifecycle of Hoshizaki Lancer's product portfolio, including product development and market analysis, product launch, sales executions and analytics, and EOL planning. In order to be successful in the role the Product Line Manager will need to work cross-functionally, developing strong relationships across all key functions – particularly sales, marketing, engineering, and planning.
Key Responsibilities
Working in conjunction with the Marketing lead, the Product Line Manager will be responsible for ensuring that Lancer's full product portfolio is accurately reflected on the website. This will include
* Liaising with relevant factories and suppliers to obtain required product assets for Hoshizaki.com.au & lancerbeverage.com pages - for example dimensional drawings, product specifications, parts lists, user manuals, etc.
* Developing product messaging that will guide website copy to ensure consistency across all communications
The Product Line Manager will be responsible for driving the NPO cycle, including
* Collaboration with suppliers (internal and external) to identify products and features that complement our portfolio.
* Working with Engineering to ensure fit for purpose and compliance with local requirements.
* Roadmapping future product development to ensure Hoshizaki Lancer's product portfolio remains competitive.
* Developing pricing and margin structures to achieve Lancer's sales qty & GP% targets
* Develop and maintain competitive matrices for key product lines, that detail feature and specification comparisons vs key competitive units
* Develop and maintain product roadmaps and line-up charts for all product lines
* Feed into the ongoing monthly customer marketing program. This would include:
* Working with Customer Marketing team to ensure new products are featured with the promotions calendar
* Providing product messaging for all products that will guide the development of all internal & external communications
* Work in conjunction with the Technical Product Manager to ensure that showrooms are showcasing the best and latest of Hoshizaki Lancer's products and features. To do this, the Product Line Manager will:
* Work in conjunction with sales to ensure the right product mix is represented in all showrooms.
* Work in conjunction with the Technical Product Manager to ensure all relevant features of the products are working and demonstratable.
* Work with Marketing Communications to ensure that any required sales collateral is available.
The Product Line Manager will have responsibility ensuring that the best and latest products within Hoshizaki Lancer's product portfolio is displayed, and all key feature are correctly messaged at all trade shows. To do this, the Product Line Manager will
* Work in conjunction with sales to ensure the right product mix is showcased at the show.
* All relevant features of the products are correctly communicated
* Work with Marketing Communications & Technical Product Manager to ensure all required sales collateral and training is provided before the show
The Product Line Manager will provide general pre-sales support to the sales team. This could include such things as
* Providing collateral to help push opportunities through the sales funnel
* Providing advice around the functional capabilities of products and helping to advise on potential alternatives within the product range that would provide better outcomes to the end user

Educational and Experience
* Min 5 years of industry experience in B2B product marketing or Industrial Equipment sales, service or management.
* Can demonstrate a practical level of mechanical aptitude.
* Have an understanding of basic electrical principles.
* Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Teams.
