Male Disability Support Worker – Caboolture Area

We are currently seeking compassionate, reliable, and experienced Male Disability Support Workers to join our growing team in the Caboolture area. This role involves supporting a male participant living in a Supported Independent Living (SIL) environment, with a strong focus on mental health support, independence, and community participation.
As a Disability Support Worker, you will play a meaningful role in empowering the participant to live a fulfilling and independent life in a safe, respectful, and supportive home environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide person-centred support tailored to the participant's individual needs
* Assist with daily living activities, routines, and personal care as required
* Support mental health needs, promoting emotional regulation, resilience, and confidence
* Implement and follow Positive Behaviour Support strategies to manage challenging behaviours
* Support community access, social engagement, exercise, and outdoor activities
* Maintain accurate documentation and communication with the support team
* Contribute to a safe, stable, and empowering SIL home environment
Essential Requirements
* Male applicants only
* Relevant qualifications in Disability, Mental Health, Community Services, or similar
* Demonstrated experience supporting people with mental health conditions and challenging behaviours, ideally in SIL or similar settings
* Strong communication skills and a person-centred, trauma-informed approach
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
* Working With Children Check / Blue Card
* First Aid & CPR certification
* Reliable, empathetic, and professional with a genuine passion for supporting others
* Interest or passion for exercise and outdoor activities
