The Opportunity
We're on the lookout for an experienced Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of a key branch in the Hunter Valley. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a pivotal leadership role within a long-established business that values people, safety and teamwork.
This is a permanent and full-time position, on-site and Monday-Friday roster.
What you will be responsible for:
* Lead and manage daily operations across workshop, warehouse, sales, logistics and purchasing
* Drive efficiency, process improvements and operational excellence
* Oversee budgets, expenditure and quality assurance standards
* Foster a positive, safe and high-performing work culture
* Build strong relationships with staff, customers, suppliers and management
* Ensure compliance with policies, legislation and industry standards
What you will bring:
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar leadership role
* Experience within mining, heavy industry and mobile machinery is advantageous
* Strong people management and communication skills
* Advanced organisational and problem-solving ability
* Confidence in driving change and making data-driven decisions
* Qualifications in Business, Management or related field (desirable)
