Multiskilled Operator – FIFO Work - Environmental & Civil Contractors in the Cooper Basin
Aussie Enviro Excavations is seeking an experienced Multiskilled Operator to join our FIFO team working in the Cooper Basin, South Australia. We are a leading environmental and civil earthmoving contractor providing specialist services including remediation, rehabilitation, site investigations, contaminated land remediation, soil erosion repairs, vegetation management, and restoration to natural environments for the oil and gas sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely and efficiently operate a range of earthmoving equipment including excavators (8–30 tonne), skid steers, loaders, and other machinery.
* Perform final trim works, shaping and constructing drains, pads, bund/pond walls to engineered specifications.
* Load, unload, and transport machinery on-site and between sites (HC or higher heavy vehicle license required).
* Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance to ensure operational readiness.
* Maintain strict compliance with site safety standards, including hazard reporting and incident management.
* Work collaboratively as part of a small, committed team in remote and challenging locations.
* Deliver high-quality work in line with environmental and project standards and deadlines.
Requirements
* Minimum 5 years' experience operating excavators (8–30 tonne), skid steer, and final trim equipment.
* Proven background in general plant hire and civil projects, preferably with experience working in remote site environments.
* Current relevant tickets and licenses for equipment operation and heavy vehicle driving.
* Commitment to safety, environmental stewardship, and workmanship excellence.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in remote FIFO roles.
