Junior School (approximately 120 students). Situated in Corio, this campus caters for day students from Early Learning to Year 4. After Year 4, students from the Junior School proceed to Corio Middle School. Junior School has approximately 25 full-time and part-time teaching and support staff.
Geelong Grammar School is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our Junior School on a part‐time (2 days per week), Maximum‐term basis (Term 2, 2026 until 31st December 2026). This role is ideal for an educator who is passionate about providing a caring, engaging and stimulating learning environment where every child can thrive.
What You'll Do
* Build a warm, inclusive and engaging learning environment where children feel safe, confident and inspired.
* Plan and deliver high-quality programs influenced by Reggio Emilia, the IB PYP, and nature-based learning.
* Document children's learning thoughtfully and communicate progress clearly with families.
* Foster independence, inquiry and a lifelong love of learning.
* Supervise Co‐Educators and ensure the classroom runs smoothly, safely and joyfully.
* Contribute positively to the broader school community and uphold our shared values.
What You Bring
* A genuine passion for Early Childhood education and the belief that children are capable, curious learners.
* Strong communication, teamwork and relationship-building skills.
* Confidence in delivering creative, developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
* A commitment to professional growth and reflective practice.
* Approved Early Childhood teaching qualifications, VIT registration.
* Current First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis certifications or willingness to obtain.
