About the role
We are seeking a dedicated, experienced and trade qualified Chef to join our kitchen team at our client's residential aged care facility located in Narrabundah, ACT .
Monday and Tuesday from 11.00am till 19.00pm
*The successful applicant must have received at least 2 doses of the COVID-19 Vaccine, and provide a current Federal Police Check or be willing to apply for one*
Key attributes and responsibilities
Previous aged care catering experience is highly desirable.
High level of QA, WH&S, HACCP and food safety knowledge.
Previous experience in the design and implementation of nutritionally adequate and appropriate menus specific to Aged Care.
Empathy towards residents, staff and clients.
Produce high quality, nutritious and well‑presented meals in line with aged care food service guidelines.
Assist the chef manager with menu design and implementation.
Excellent client and resident liaison skills.
Have reliable transport.
