We are looking for a commercial and litigation lawyer to join our Thornbury based law firm. Phillips & Wilkins was founded in 1931 and provides legal services to our local community and wider network. Our firm is a welcoming place to work with an experienced team. We encourage our lawyers to develop their professional skills and to maintain a healthy work life balance.
Experience
At least three years post admission experience in commercial law including business sales and purchases, loan agreements, shareholder agreements, and other general commercial work. General commercial litigation experience including commencing new matters, defending matters, briefing counsel and advising clients on prospects of success.
Experience in family law and property law will be viewed favourably as we also practice in these areas.
Supervision
The role will be supervised by an experienced practitioner with responsibility for the commercial and litigation practice areas at our firm. We expect the successful candidate to be able to run their own files under supervision.

Qualifications
To apply you must have completed a law degree and hold a current practicing certificate in Victoria. You must also agree to a national police check.
