Warehouse Assistant Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Warehouse Assistant to join our team in an Australian distribution centre.
The successful candidate will be responsible for safely operating Counterbalance/High Reach forklifts, as well as manual handling equipment. You will work collaboratively with the team to unload goods and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate both Counterbalance/High Reach forklifts and manual handling equipment efficiently and safely.
* Participate in on-the-job training and adhere to all Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) policies and procedures.
* Unload goods and perform warehouse duties as part of a cohesive team.
* Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to strict guidelines and protocols.
Requirements:
* Proven experience operating Counterbalance/High Reach forklifts.
* Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment with manual handling and unloading responsibilities.
* Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
* Ability and willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing priorities within the team.
