Full Job Description
We are looking for a Principal Primary Design Engineer to work on HV substation and primary network projects across Australia. In this role you will provide technical leadership across all primary systems design.
* Perth, Brisbane or Sydney based
* Hybrid role encouraging work-life balance
* Up to $300k package
About the role:
* Direct the design of substation primary and secondary systems according to Australian standards
* Lead the advanced primary design, network modelling, optimisation and studies for large-scale substation and primary network projects
* Subject matter expert across all projects acting as the primary technical contact for internal and external stakeholders
* Strategic oversight of all projects to enhance project delivery and efficiency
Skills and Experience:
* 10+ years experience in a Senior Primary Design role, with exceptional understanding of primary network engineering with a focus on substations and power systems
* Client engagement skills with the ability to build long-term relationships and repeat business
* Tertiary Qualification in Electrical Engineering certified by Engineers Australia
* Strong leadership abilities, proven experience mentoring junior engineers or willingness to do so
