About The Opportunity We are seeking multiple Plant Operators to join our Civil team based at Kalkie Depot. As one of our Plant Operators, you will be part of a multi-disciplined team delivering a wide range of civil maintenance, repair and construction works across the Bundaberg Region. This role is not limited to the operation of a single piece of plant - you will operate a variety of mobile plant and equipment and undertake labouring duties as required to support team outcomes. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Operating and maintaining a range of mobile plant and heavy vehicles Road and drainage maintenance and construction works Concrete placement, sprayed bituminous and asphalt works Basic formwork and steel fixing Manual handling and labouring duties Maintaining a safe working environment in line with WHS requirements Completing daily documentation Assisting with after-hours emergency works when required About You To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following key selection criteria: Current HR (Heavy Rigid) Driver Licence with demonstrated experience driving rigid motor vehicles over 15 tonnes GVM and 22.5 tonnes GCM. Demonstrated experience and competency in operating and maintaining a range of mobile plant and equipment. Extensive experience in civil construction and maintenance. Current Construction Industry General Safety Induction (White Card). Working in Proximity to Traffic Awareness (Part 1 & 2) or willingness to obtain prior to commencement. Ability and willingness to work regularly outside normal hours.
