Position Purpose
Dampier Mermaid Hotel & Motel is looking for several Waiters to work in Dampier, Western Australia.
Responsibilities
· Greeting and seating customers in a professional and friendly manner.
· Presenting menus and providing recommendations to guests.
· Taking orders and serving food and beverages promptly and accurately.
· Anticipating customer needs and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their experience.
· Handling inquiries, concerns, and special requests.
· Processing payments and operating the POS system effectively.
· Setting and clearing tables
· Collaborating with team members to maintain a smooth flow of service.
Skills and Attributes:
· At least 1 year of experience
· Ability to communicate in a professional and courteous manner
· Customer Service skills
· Ability to manage own time effectively
· Ability to work as instructed following both verbal and written work instructions
