IT Support Professional Job Overview
We are seeking an IT support professional to join our team in Adelaide. As a key member of our technical support team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality assistance to end-users, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, and ensuring the smooth operation of our information technology systems.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT support, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
* Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, and network connectivity.
* Configure and maintain computer systems, printers, and other equipment.
* Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of IT services.
Requirements:
* Relevant tertiary qualification (normally a degree) or equivalent knowledge and skills.
* Proven experience in supporting and maintaining information technologies, including networked desktop workstation applications, i.e., Microsoft Office, shared folders, networked printers, email, and web-based applications, and audiovisual equipment.
* Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and to collaborate effectively with a virtual multi-site team.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Familiarity with the ITIL service management framework, particularly in relation to incident and change management.
* Understanding of security issues at both operating system and networking levels of a complex information technology environment.
