We have an opportunity available for a new Education & Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Queensland team. What You'll Do
This is a key business partnering role responsible for the provision of technical/professional support and advice to Director of Operations, Regional Managers, Educational leaders and Campus Directors to deliver the OAC Way (the OAC Early Childhood Curriculum including pedagogy, practice and environments). First point of contact for a new family and facilitating and leading the OAC Quality and Safety Framework (QSF), regulatory and compliance practices.
* Supporting Campus Leadership to embed the National Quality Framework, legislation, and child safe standards.
* Building compliance capability across the OAC network.
* Conducting internal reviews, assurance activities, and investigations (including serious incidents and complaints).
* Identifying risks and trends to drive continuous quality improvement.
* Sets and implements professional practice benchmarks through assessment, monitoring, coaching, and support.
* Partners with Quality Assurance and Education leadership to ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework, licensing, and Children's Services legislation.
* Provides cross‑organisational consultancy and support in education and quality.
* Leads delivery of the Educational Leadership Framework and OAC quality objectives across allocated regions.
* Works with Regional Operations Leaders to embed the OAC Way across all campuses.
* Builds capability of campus leadership through ongoing compliance upskilling and development.
* Supports new campus integrations, including practice setup, staff training, and implementation of OAC policies and procedures.
Qualifications & Experience
* Approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification or higher from a recognised university or relevant industry studies/experience
* Current First Aid Certificate
* Working With Children's Check, or Blue Card (QLD)
* Child Protection qualification relevant to state.
* Demonstrated strong experience in an early childhood setting.
* Experience in operating a childcare centre or experience managing a team.
* Knowledge of statutory regulations relating to the sector.
* Strong Early Childhood Pedagogical Knowledge across a variety of learning environments
* Experience in delivering professional development to adults.
